Parvez Ali Sandhila, a well-known analyst based in Birmingham, has been appointed as the Special Focal Person for Europe by the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports. Additionally, Raja Fateh Kayani has been nominated as the Focal Person for Azad Kashmir.
The notification was issued by Rana Mashhood, Chairman of Youth Affairs and Development, under the directive of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He stated that overseas Pakistanis residing in Europe have warmly welcomed the appointment of Parvez Ali Sandhila.
Rana Mashhood further commented that youth and sports-related activities between Europe and Pakistan have been gradually declining. As a result, young individuals growing up in Europe are increasingly drifting away from their country of origin and their native language.
He emphasised that the nomination of an individual like Parvez Ali Sandhila will help raise awareness among the youth in both regions and encourage greater participation in positive initiatives. This move is expected to strengthen the connection between young people in Pakistan and Europe, ultimately contributing to the development of a more vibrant and cohesive society.
Imran Fareed, Coordinator of the Pakistan Media Centre, described the appointments of Parvez Sandhila and Raja Fateh Mahmood Kayani as a significant development. He praised both individuals as well-educated and dedicated to youth advancement.
He added that the current government is committed to the progress and stability of young people. The vision of empowering the youth, driven by the efforts of Chairman Rana Mashhood, is being realised through the inclusion of proactive individuals like Parvez Sandhila and Raja Fateh Kayani in this important journey.
